Resin Scraper was conceived in late 1991 by John Westhaver and Claudio Cacciotti at Birdman Sound in Ottawa. Dave Fought, Carol Lane and Alex Lane were drafted and the band began. First show was at Shed Sessions festival with this line up summer of 1992. First album cassette only released 1992 ltd. to 100 copies). Caudio left later that year and Alex the following. Ron Lance joined on guitar followed by Todd Gibbon (guitar), Renny Godier on harp and Chris Page(guitar). By spring of 2000, Todd had left and Resin Scraper recorded their final album "Last Soldier" (unreleased) at Little Bullhorn Studios as a 4 piece with John, Carol Dave and Chris.
