The Baby Al project was put together by Fresco Recordings in 1996, inspired by the rhythms of drummer/photographer Alan Stockdale and featuring label mates Dave Kane and Cara Robinson the project was produced and recorded by Rob Swain. Stockdale and Swain also worked together on Swain's Methodblack project in 2001. Stockdale is currently drumming with Edinburgh based collective Found.
