Eldridge Fox

Real name: Eldridge Locke “Foxy” Fox

American vocalist, songwriter and group leader.
Born July 10, 1936 in Mars Hill, North Carolina.
Died November 21, 2002 (66 years of age).
He began his career with the Silvertones in 1952 and subsequently sang with the Ambassadors. In 1957, Fox joined the Kingsmen Quartet, leading the group into becoming one of Southern Gospel’s premier quartets. He was inducted into the Southern Gospel Hall of Fame in 1998.
