Jazz manager. Died August 5, 2010 in London aged 82

Boulton started in showbiz as a copywriter for Glenn Miller and during a 55-year music career, he managed Tony Bennett as well as the Ted Heath Orchestra. As Robert Farnon's agent he helped arrange a collaboration with Frank Sinatra that yielded the 1962 album "Frank Sinatra Sings Great Songs From Great Britain." Boulton set up his own label, Horatio Nelson Records and released albums by Bennett, Farnon, the Heath Orchestra, Vera Lynn, Alyn Ainsworth, Anne Shelton, Max Bygraves, Sheila Southern, Kenny Baker, Don Lusher, Laurie Johnson's London Big Band and Jack Parnell.

While he arranged concerts in the U.S. as well, he concentrated mainly in U.K. venues, presenting such acts as Sinatra, Liberace, Petula Clark and Cliff Richard.
