Following the ill-fated Daddy Cool musical, Frank Farian launched the Daddy Cool Kids project in late 2007, featuring his daughter Yanina, when they redid Boney M.'s "Mary's Boy Child" for a Boney M. Christmas compilation (Christmas With Boney M.). The single "School's Out" was released in the summer of 2008, reaching #26 in Austria, but only scraping the lower ends of the charts in Switzerland and Germany. The album was put on hold due to Farian's divorce but was finally released before Christmas 2009. With no promotion to accompany it, it quickly disappeared.
