Famous for their Spanish cover of Paper Lace - The Night Chicago Died, and their Chicago (2) like sound. The band split up and left CBS in Mexico in 1976; Virgilio Canales the former band's keyboard player and musical arranger formed his own group Liberación, leaving Macho's lead vocalist Luis Antonio Diaz to form two unsuccessful bands Luis Antonio Diaz Y Su Sol Banda and Banda Supermacho.
