Johnny Patterson
Irish singer, songwriter and entertainer.
Born in 1840 as John Francis Patterson in Kilbarron, Feakle, County Clare in Ireland.
Died on May 31, 1889 in Tralee, County Kerry, from injuries sustained in a fight caused by the political content of one of his songs: he wanted Protestants and Catholics to live together in peace.
His best known song is "The Garden Where the Praties Grow".
