Formed in the suburbs of Maryland, Devils Wielding Scimitars recorded their first two albums as a quartet featuring guitarist Scott Tyburski, bassist Michael Baker, drummer Brandon Finley, and Callahan on vocals. Their third album (in 1997) featured a reorganized group with new drummer Kevin Morales with Tyburski (guitar) and Callahan (bass/vocals).
