As a student at Oundle School in Peterborough, UK, Nigel Jacklin convinced his music teacher to book Throbbing Gristle at the school's auditorium on 16 March 1980. Around this time, Jacklin took inspiration from TG's 'Alien Brain' concept and started his own musically project Alien Brains. Although he later worked under the name Verdenskang, he retreated from the music world in the mid-1980's.
