JJ Jeczalik was a member of Art Of Noise during the 1980s and one the UKs leading freelance Fairlight CMI programmers, working with acts like Kate Bush, Pet Shop Boys, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Dollar, ABC, Malcolm McLaren and Eartha Kitt. Jeczalik began recording under the pun name of "Art Of Silence" while his former bandmates rechristened themselves as "The Image Of A Group" before he sold the Art Of Noise name rights to Trevor Horn in 1997 after he retired from the music industry.
