In the 90’s he participated in mixing contests and he won every single one of them and in 1996 he was named Dj of the year. These are some of the high points in the life of the 'Dance Detective '. In 1970, he was born in Haarlem and began spinning at local clubs in the region of Amsterdam (Netherlands) at age of 18. There always has been a preference for "Dance" music, but he also listened and watched the crowd what they want to hear on the dance floor. As a remixer he has made hundreds of mixes for national and local radio mixes in the Netherlands. Short mash-up’s from 5 minutes to complete years mixes of one hour. Now the “Dance Detective” spins the wheels of steel at classic dance parties.
