Bop Alloy consists of Virginia based MC from Maryland, Substantial and producer/pianist Marcus D from Seattle, WA. Baritone vocals, fluid flows, and honest lyrics over hypnotic melodies and pounding drums defines the Bop Alloy sound. Together and individually, they have collaborated with Nujabes, Royce Da 5’9”, Kool Herc, Oddisee, Emancipator, CunninLynguists, Chew Fu, Shing02, Choklate, and Kenichiro Nishihara. Bop Alloy has been featured on Vogue.com, DJBooth.net, 2DopeBoyz.com, The Washington City Paper and many other publications, on and offline. They have performed in cities across the US, Japan & Taiwan and are currently planning a US tour, Spring 2014 to promote their new album "Another Day in the Life of... "

The group's latest album "Another day in the life of…" (ADITLO) features stories of everyday people. "ADITLO... can be anyone’s story. Some of the stories told are personal while others belong to those we observed during our travels," said Substantial. “To me, ADITLO... is just a soundtrack to everyday life. It chronicles the struggles and shortcomings, as well as the triumphs and accomplishments we experience on a daily basis”, says Marcus D. ADITLO is scheduled to be released Spring 2014 and features GRAMMY nominated Singer/Songwriter, Carolyn Malachi, Cise Star (of CYNE), Pismo and more. Bop Alloy is currently planning a US tour for Spring 2014.
