The Troubadours

Effective period / Period of releases: 1923 - 1937

The Troubadours is one of several names under which the Victor label released recordings by its house orchestra between 1922 and 1940.

On other records, the orchestra appears as The Serenaders, The Manhattan Merrymakers, The Virginians, or The Great White Way Orchestra. All these ensembles usually consisted of the same musicians and were directed by Hugo Frey.

For Troubadours releases on the Romeo label, use The Troubadours.
