He studied jazz-piano at the conservatories in Cologne and Paris with Hans Lüdemann, John Taylor, Bill Dobbins, Daniel Humair and François Theberge. He has collaborated with musicians as John Ruocco, Niels Klein, Dominic Miller, Frederik Köster, Gene Calderazzo, Jonas Burgwinkel, Keith Copeland, Torun Eriksen, Wolfgang Muthspiel, Tom Gäbel, Silje Nergaard and Joachim Kühn.
