Gail Gardner
Real name: Gail I. Garder
Cowboy poet and songwriter. Born December 25, 1892 in territorial Arizona, graduated from Dartmouth College in 1914, flew a Curtis Jenny for the U.S. Army in World War I, rancher, postmaster in Prescott, AZ for nearly 50 years. His most famous cowboy song is "Tying Knots In The Devil's Tail".
