Real name: Erik Staffan Berggren

Swedish songwriter, singer and guitarist, born on April 1, 1945 in Gällivare församling, Gällivare, Lappland and died on July 3, 2017 in Eskilstuna Kloster, Eskilstuna, Södermanland.

Berggren is best known for his work with Shanes during the early to mid-1960s. He was one of the founders of Shanes and also wrote most of the band's early hits. However, he left the group in September 1965, and his solo career never achieved the commercial success he had hoped for.
