Members: Mr (Gerry) King
The Plugs first appeared on the East Herts UK music scene around 1979 with their poppy-Ska sound playing gigs around Hertford and gaining a following with their infectious danceable songs. They appeared on the Rupert tape and album and their first single, a cover of Bo Diddley's "Crackin' Up" had plenty of radio play This was followed with another single " Indoor shopping Centre/High Society". And finalized with a 10 track cassette album "Last Of The Boiler Boys".
