English translation of the Swedish liner notes on the back of the sleeve:
18:e Oktober (October 18th) was formed 1984 from the leftovers of the infantile experimental groups Equisum and PLOR. Late summer 1984, after a month of quarantine in Swedish customs, 18:e Oktober's first studio arrived in the form of a 4-track Fostex X15 cassette recorder whereupon intense recording sessions began. The result of these sessions was presented to the public on four cassette albums issued by Neuköln Recordings: Likström (Direct current) 1985, Zeb 1985, Hybris 1985 and En Sista Dos (one last dose) 1987. 18:e Oktober also participated on a handful of compilation cassettes with Swedish electronic and industrial music at the time.
18.e Oktober was dissolved in the late 80's to eventually be part of the infantile synth pop band Rymdkapsel Crash (space capsule crash) and left behind a variety of unreleased recordings of more or less finished melodies. In this phonogram ha selection from this surplus is being presented. The recordings were made from 1985 to 1988 in Neuköln Studio (NK002) using effect boxes in exciting colors and instruments with funky buttons and nice resonances.
