Lee Jackson

Real name: Warren George Harding Lee

Effective period / Period of releases: 1957 - 1999

Blues singer and guitarist and bassist, moved to Chicago in c. 1950, recorded under his own name for Cobra in 1956 and Keyhole in 1961, making an LP for Bluesway in 1973, but mostly as sideman behind artists such as Eddie Clearwater, Homesick James, Walter Horton, J.B. Hutto, Little Walter, Sunnyland Slim and Hound Dog Taylor.
Born August 18th, 1921 in Gill (Arkansas).
Died July 1st, 1979 in Chicago.
