German schlager and beat singer, lyricist and guitarist
He was born in 1935 in Rosenheim.
In 1959 Oswald founded together with one other Bavarian and two Viennese musicians the schlager beat combo Die Bambis, His stage name at the time: Mandy or Mandy Oswald. After very successful years the band split up but Oswald contined to use the band name as Mandy Und Die Bambis.
Died March 28, 2023, Vienna.
