Real name: Lucio B. Duran

Former Backwards Records NW artist and Blackcell member Lucio Duran is a slight departure from the burning Industrial blast beats and sharp cutting synth lines the Denver trio was known for (and still is as a duo). Brocken Spectre surrounds our ears with rhythms and ambiance finely crafted from an all hardware set up. Brocken Spectre exacts analog melodies and beats rivaling Kraftwerk. This is the softer, Autechre ala early 1990’s, side of Lucio that was first felt back in his days with In Ether. Soft saw waves wash over minimal analog percussion that drives his signature sound further from Industrial and closer towards Dark Electro - IDM.
