Known for his work within the country genre he also mixed blues, swing, and early rock-and-roll to create his unique ‘Idaho Cowboy’ sound. In addition to recording as a solo artist, Bennett either led or worked, recorded with Tarwater (3), Pinto Bennett And The Famous Motel Cowboys and Trio Pinto.
