Corrado Mantoni (born 2 August 1924, Rome, Italy - died 8 June 1999, Rome, Italy) known professionally simply as Corrado, was an Italian TV presenter, writer, dubber and announcer. He began his career in the 1940's as a newscaster on Italian public radio - thanks to his low, throaty voice and flawless diction - and in the span of few years, went on to become one of the most popular and loved showmen of the television age.
