Real name: Jay Stansfield

Multi-instrumentalist and family man Jay Stansfield hails from Pendle in Lancashire who for the last 25 years has been writing, recording and performing music that matches the likes of The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Weezer, The Polyphonic Spree and Elliot Smith. He’s recorded two John Peel sessions with his previous band tRANSELEMENt (formerly EleMenT), worked with Martin Carr, James Atkin, Nigel Clarke, Republica and supported Mike and the Mechanics. Frontman and guitarist in punk band ALL HAIL HYENA who have supported Grandaddy and helped in raising housands for Cardiacs Tim Smith. Currently running The Songwriting Company and writing songs for bereaved families.
