Enrique Nery Free Music

Enrique Nery

Mexican jazz pianist. Born 1945. Died February 23th, 2014.
At a very young age, he developed an interest for music and by the age of twelve he was already playing piano in Orchestras such as The Chuck Anderson's Orchestra, Luis Arcaraz and Pablo Beltran Ruiz, amongst others. From 1957 to 1960 he studied at Conservatorio Nacional de Musica under the guidance of Aura Pacheco, Carlos Jimenez Mabarak and Rodolfo Halfter
He contributed musical arrangements for some important Mexican musicians such as Jose Jose, Eugenia Leon, Guadalupe Pineda and Vikki Carr. He also participated in recording sessions with Pedro Vargas, Armando Manzanero and Marco Antonio Muñiz amongst others. He was also Musical Director for Luis Miguel, Monna Bell, Carlos Lico and Emmanuel.
Playing Jazz he shared the stage with Justo Almario, Abraham Laboriel, Oscar Stagnaro, Clarence Penn and others.
