Hugh Cross

Hugh Cross joined the Wheeling Jamboree in 1935. Cross, who was an experienced radio and recording artist, teamed up with Shug Fisher and they formed Hugh and Shug's Radio Pals. They left WWVA in 1939 for WLW in Cincinnati, Ohio. Hugh and his Radio Pals started as part of a radio show from the Town Hall in Compton, California.
