Pianist Larry Nash and drummer Woody Theus were just thirteen years old when they sat in an old garage with beat up equipment and started a band. They were soon joined by fellow teenagers – percussionist Tony Poinsett, saxophonist Herman Burns and bassist Robert Miranda. Their only LP Jazz Symphonics - The Beginning was released in 1968.
