Punk / power-pop band from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia formed in early 1988.
The band only ever recorded 3 tracks, 1989's Au-go-go 7-inch 'You're So Perfect' b/w 'I Don't Like Anybody' & 'Hate to Skate'. The tracks were recorded at Sing Sing Studios in Richmond and produced by the band / Kaj Dahlstrom. The band's final show was at Melbourne University with The Lime Spiders in early 1989.
After the split, Phil Rose went on to form Nursery Crimes, whilst Mick Weber & Todd McNeair went on to Hoss and continued to play with the Seminal Rats. Slush Puppies had an LP's worth of songs written just before the split that will unfortunately never see the light of day. Hate To Skate was released in Feb 2022 on Fantastic Mess split 7-inch with Hellmenn: 'Mad World / Hate To Skate'.
