Real name: William Gale Vinton

Will Vinton was an American stop-motion/Claymation animator and Academy Award-winning short film director who created characters such as the California Raisins, the Domino’s Noid, and the M&M’s. He founded Will Vinton Productions, Inc. and worked on several projects with Michael Jackson and the feature-length film The Adventures of Mark Twain, among others. He died at age 70 in early October 2018 after a 12-year battle with Multiple Myeloma, a form of cancer.
