Czech composer of the late baroque era and early classicism (October 2, 1704, Kostelec nad Orlicí, Bohemia - January 30, 1774, Vienna). Composer, organist, gambist and musical theorist. His music belongs stylistically to the late Baroque. His instrumental music includes trio and quartet sonatas, sinfonias and partitas, among his sacred works we find 65 masses, 29 psalms and 5 settings of the Stabat Mater.
