"Los Orientales" come from "Paramonga", a northern city of Peru (200 Km from Lima).
The band has a very unique style and a great talent. The guitar "wah-wah" sound is the principal characteristic of the band.

One of the band members are : Director Victor Ramirez (Lead Guitar), Carlos Ramirez (Rhythm Guitar), Severino Rino Ramirez (Bass), Evert Rosales (timbales), Manuel Mañuco Rea (tumbas) and the fifth one, Victor Rojas (Seaweed),but there are always additional artists.

The biography listed here is the output of two different bands with the same name.
The "original" Orientales were founded by Maximiliano Chávez in the late 60s and their records were released on the infopesa imprint.
