German composer, born in 1961. Chamber music, tape music, music for theater and movies, works for electronics and instruments. Co-developer of the AUDIAC Project for computer aided composition and sound synthesis (he developed several composition languages and interactive realtime environments). In his work he is interested in different connections between music and stagework towards an integrative multimedia theatre as well as in aspects of formalisation and automatic generation of musical structures.
