An American soul singer and songwriter.
Born April 8, 1938 in Houston, Texas, USA.
Died October 13, 2006 (aged 68) in Los Angeles, California, USA.
Her family moved to Los Angeles when she was four years old.
She charted twice on the U.S. charts, first with the crossover hit "Moments" in 1961, which hit #50 overall as well as #9 on the adult contrmporary and #16 on the R&B chart. In 1962, she charted again with "Money (That's What I Want)", which hit #17 on the R&B chart.
