(Saint Gilles, Brussels 21/02/1899 - Brussels, 08/16/1970): Belgian coloratura (soprano). The family left at the beginning of the First World War to France, Le Havre. Clara graduated from the music academia ("Académie de musique") of Anderlecht, Brussels, Belgium (1908-1913). After the First World War, she performs regularly in concerts through Belgium under the name of Clara Any (or Clary Any). In 1923, she began a career as soprano coloratura at Théâtre Royal De La Monnaie, Brussels until 1953, May 29. In 1955, she opened a café called "La Vocalise", near to the Théâtre Royal De La Monnaie, Brussels until her death.
