Accendo is an American trance producer and DJ from Portland, OR on Infrasonic Recordings.

Accendo was first introduced to trance in 2000 after hearing a recording of Paul Van Dyk’s live set at the Mayday Festival in Germany. Intrigued with the foreign melodic sounds emanating from Europe, Accendo started collecting tracks and compilations from additional artists in the genre. Upon moving to England in 2007 to attend the University of Birmingham, the proximity to the nightclub scene in Digbeth coupled with meeting new friends also interested in trance music, Accendo was inspired to purchase a mixer and DJ live at an assortment of functions in the Birmingham area. In April of 2009, he adopted the artist name Accendo which is Latin for “to kindle and illuminate”. Motivated to give something back to the dance community that he loves, Accendo started in 2010 to produce his own trance tracks.
