The Blushing Brides

Effective period / Period of releases: 1982

Members: Paul Martin (21)

Canadian pop group formed in the late '70s as a Rolling Stones tribute band. Because of the relative absence of the real Rolling Stones records and tours, RCA Records took interest in them. The group released an EP and one album, and a couple of singles by 1982. band folded, and re-emerged on Strawberry Records in the 1990s as The Brides (5). In the early 2000s they became the McBrides featuring Doug Inglis of Goddo on drums. In recent years they've come back as the original Blushing Brides once again performing Rolling Stones material.
