Fading Waves is a one-man post-metal band from Rostov-on-Don, Russia formed in 2008 by Alexey Maximuk.

The band unites the power of Isis (6), the atmosphere of Cult Of Luna and infinite flight of emotions of any post-metal band. In 2009 the first demo EP "No Way Home" was recorded that includes 7 tracks.

The current line-up is Alexey “Lex” Maximuk playing all instruments and drum programming along with guest musicians.
