WU LYF (World Unite Lucifer Youth Foundation) was an indie rock band from Manchester, although they used to refer to their music as being 'heavy pop'. Formed in the summer of 2008, the band consisted of lead singer Ellery Roberts, Tom McClung, Evans Kati and Joe Manning. WU LYF released a few singles and one album, Go Tell Fire To The Mountain. In the lyrics, although hard to understand, lead singer Ellery Roberts expressed his disgust of capitalist society and war, and his love for nature and freedom. Rather surprisingly, Roberts left the band in November 2012 with a short YouTube statement accompanying an unmixed version of a new track called 'Triumph', which meant the end of WU LYF. Roberts went on working on some solo projects, whereamong Lost Under Heaven (LUH).
