Anders Blomqvist
Swedish electronic music composer, born in Falun, 8 January 1956, died in January 2021 (or possibly December 2020).
Blomqvist grew up in Uppsala and studied at Stockholm's Electronic Music Studio (EMS) and at the Stockholm College of Music, followed by music and film studies at the universities of Stockholm and Göteborg. In addition, he collaborated closely with the concert organization at Fylkingen.
Blomqvist’s compositions have been ranked among the most interesting to have come out of Sweden. He also took an interest in picture shows, and his Jaguar Revisited (1984) has been repeatedly performed at various festivals and on television.
