American drummer and bass player. Chris Hervey played drums on the Downcast LP, but he left the band in favor of playing bass in Statue.

Chris was stabbed and killed on 1/4/96, supposedly by a prowler who had broken into his girlfriend's house during the night. The case was never solved and went cold until Santa Ana, CA police received an anonymous letter in January 2020 implicating the girlfriend in Chris's death. She was arrested in Austin, TX (where she was living at the time) on May 5th, 2022 and is currently awaiting extradition to California.
