Eric Tig, born in Atlanta, Georgia USA, son of James Tigner, Jr. aka Jimmy Tig (born July 20, 1938, Atlanta, Georgia USA – died September 21, 2007, Atlanta, Georgia USA) an American R&B singer, drummer, bandleader and songwriter who recorded and performed between the 1950's and 1970's.

Eric was appointed Chief Financial Officer of his father's record label Dynasty Records (incorporated in 1985).

In 1987 Eric was killed in a drugs-related shooting.
