The Paul Horn Quintet was a Grammy Award nominated jazz ensemble formed in 1958. They played modal style jazz heavily influenced by Miles Davis through the middle of the 1960s before shifting to a more easy listening sound for two albums. They reformed after Paul Horn returned from his travels through India and remained active until the mid 1970s.

The Quintet received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Jazz Album, Small Ensemble for their 1965 recording "Cycle". Their final release was the double live LP, "A Special Edition," which was released as a Paul Horn solo album in 1974.
