LIMITED LIABILITY SOUNDS is the name of the Polish ambient/experimental musician Adam Mankowski. He’s a composer and sound artist, who loves the textures fusion of classical/electro-acoustic music with the electronic digital ones. Project is active since 2006, when appeared first official CD-R release. The name "Limited Liability Sounds" is a kind of protest against the treatment of noise as a phenomenon that does not deserve the term as a musical genre. Mankowski always claimed that the noise is something natural, which has always accompanied man and has the same rights as silence. Music from the sign LLS is a mixture of drones, experimental electronics, ambient, sometimes noise and field recordings. For years he has been working with a few skillful artists producers as Sascha Stadlmeier (aka EMERGE, Germany), Ishida Naoki (Japan), Stoned Wire (Hungary), Dao De Noize (Ukraine), Gimu (Brazil) and Luca Asari (Italy).

LLS has regularly been touring in Europe, and in September 2017 was on tour in Japan where he did quite a few gigs in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. In February 2017 was released new LLS album at Scottish Cromlech Records Label run by Arne Weinberg. Album dedicated to the memory of legendary, Italian composer Luciano Berio.
