Swedish choir leader, choir conductor and professor, born on 16 May 1936 in Bengtsfors.

He is one of Sweden’s most respected choir leaders, if not the most respected.He has been so since the mid 1960 when he formed Göteborgs Kammarkör in 1963 and Rilkeensemblen 1980. He has directed the very same choirs since they were founded. During the decades that have passed, the choir has still retained its distinctly Scandinavian and northern timbre, with songs and folk music from the Nordic countries, at the same time touring the World.
