Locus came from the future to bother Nottingham and the world with their odd idea of music from 2000 to 2005.
Locus were a band from Nottingham, UK. Formed in 1999 by bassist Chris Holden and guitarist Peter Wright, with the line-up completed in 2000 after the arrival of multi-instumented producer Martin Cooper. They were in the style of post-rock but without the po-face. Two albums, 'Flossie' and 'Cafe weirdo' led to them being small favourites on the John Peel wingding.
