Gwerinos (meaning Rabble in English) have fine music pedigree, with all the members being multi-instrumentalists, having played in numerous bands on the Welsh circuit.

The band have a very distinctive style which can range from the thrashing out of a loud folk-rock number to get any audience dancing, to the haunting sounds of an acoustic melody. Their music is essentially extrovert and full of fun and they are a very popular live band.

The band has evolved through numerous line-up changes to the present seven-piece band:
Elfed ap Gomer on keyboard, accordion, bass guitar and voice; Gareth Jones on the drums and backing vocals; Idris Morris Jones on the violin and backing vocals; Tudur Huws Jones on the banjo, mandola, mandolin, bouzouki, whistle and vocals; Ywain Myfyr on guitar, bodhran, harmonica and vocals; Emlyn Roberts on guitar, bouzouki and vocals and Roger Vaughan on bass guitar and backing vocals.
