Garth Beckett. Pianist, b Eston, Sask, 22 Dec 1933. A pupil of Lyell Gustin, Beckett made his orchestral debut in 1952, performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra.
