Smiley Hobbs
Real name: Julian Hobbs
Bluegrass banjo player. Born in 1928 near Four Oaks, North Carolina. Died in 1987.Hobbs spent most of his career in northern Virginia. He was a member of Bill Harrell's band, in addition to playing with Don Reno and Red Smiley.
