Jimmy Reid

Jamaican / Canadian reggae / lover's rock singer.Born 1944 in Jackson, Sligoville, St Catherine, Jamaica. Moved to West Kingston and started working at Duke Reid's studio where he sang and recorded with various groups, including The Beltones and The Cables. Emigrated to Canada in 1975 where he founded Jimmy Reid & The Rocking Moments, and then continued as a solo artist.
