Real name: Fitz Henrique Gore

Fitz Henrique Gore is a tenor saxophone player born in Jamaica August 8th 1935. He came to Europe in the early 1950s and travelled to various locations in Europe. Gore lived for (maybe a short) period of time in London and Copenhagen. Then he moved Paris, where he met Dexter Gordon, Johnny Griffin, Mal Waldron, Steve McCall, Jimmy Woode.before moving to Bonn, the capital of West Germany, together with his wife Gisela. Here he formed the group The Talismen consisting at various times of musicians Ulrich Kurth (piano), Lukoki Mampasi (electric piano), Lamont Hampton (congas) Gerard Ebbo (bass) and Philippe Zobda-Quitman (drums). He died in Bonn(Germany) in 2002 due to heart failure.
